Great photos, thanks Patty! I have a soft spot for the little RE thumpers and always wanted one as they are not only nostalgic but a good bike for someone who likes to tinker. I am always amazed about roadside repairs that are made!

@Gohm: True, it is good for tinkering. And as it has a naked design and all the machinery is out in the open, it helps a lot. This design has been going on since ages. Quite an old design compared to the Bikes we have nowadays.

Exactly, when something is done right, you just don't mess with it and it lasts! I'm all about the keeping it simple. There is a Russian brand (Ural) similar to RE in that they are based on the old airhead BMWs (like modern RE is based on the old Brit RE) and they even come with sidecars.

Dunno, after modifying it many times, I have bought it back to its original...errr..near original form. Back to square one. Have spent about 1/2 the bike's worth on it's accessories. Will put alloys later.

They had planned it as a Bike Expo but it turned out to be a big Biker's Meet.
Above are the pics. My camera's battery was quite low, that is why the pics are a little foggy.

Gohm are you a bike racer?

and patty good bikes dude , recently i rode a Bullet 500CC and its very good ride.
i almost reached 140 and had to pay fine too..😔😔

all the bikes are good.

The way is LV prasad Eye hospital road and you can even reach the above said speed on Rajiv Highway

Yes, I have a modified gsxr-600 track bike (among others) I don't compete in races as much this year as I have been car racing (autocross). Here's a picture of me during an AMA race at Virginia International Raceway.
