With the new wearable gadget you can get notified for incoming and outgoing calls, text messages, emails and also all the news feed from Facebook, Twitter or Skype.

Thanks to the remote control features, you can accept or reject calls, trigger camera, control music or even change profiles without touching your smartphone. Smarty Ring brings the clock at your fingertips too. You can set the countdown timer or stop watch or even the alarm from this innovative ring. If you happen to lose your phone in the crowd, you can send alerts on it even if it is in silent mode. If you are over protective of your phone, the ring can make the phone beep if its more than 30 feet away.




With an excellent 24 hours of battery life that the company is promising, Smarty Ring has become yet another elegant looking gadget people would love to flaunt in years to come. Made out of allergy free metal, the ring is water proof - as is expected. The folks over at this project have also released an app for iOS and Android to go with this device. It uses simple plug and play process connects your phone to the Smarty Ring with this user-friendly app. This app can be used to set the time zones and adjust clock, adjust LED brightness, beeper's volume and to assign buttons to control speed dials.

The Smarty Ring is up on Smarty Ring | Indiegogo and the status of the project says that they have spent more than 8 months of technical research and brought forth a feasible prototype model to achieve the functions listed above.
