Project Abstract / Summary : Remembering to take your pills can be difficult at any age. Most important problem with the elderly, is about not taking their medication on time, or forgetting to take on time.Forgetting to take medicines is not because of they don't want to take medicine there are several other reasons like; Alzheimer's diseases. Our project is aimed at providing a reminder to older people about the tablets to be taken by them in correct proportion and on time with the help of light and sound. The information about the tablets to be taken is entered by the user and hence for this reason a user friendly keypad interface and an LCD is provided in order to operate it easily along with several seven segment LED displays to indicate the number of pills to be taken.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : As we now most of the IT people tend to forget many important things, especially the one who is prone to some diseases which may later on effect their lives.Generally not only IT people other people may also forget to take their medication ontime. Some times this medicine box acts as a life saviour

Project Highlights : Because this project will be helpfull for the elder ones as well as the younger ones. And most importantly because it reflects on our health condition ,where every human being gives importance to their health first.
