Slope stability analysis in ABAQUS

Hi,
I'm pretty novice in Abaqus and I want to model a simple soil slope to estimate its factor of safety. I know that there's not a built-in routine for calculating FS in Abaqus and we should use strength reduction method for this purpose, but I have some problems with modeling the slope itself. For example, which kinds of material behavior should be created or how many steps we need to define... . So I would appreciate if anyone could give me some instructions or similar worked examples to solve this problem.
