Skype http://: Bug Fix
If you haven't updated your Skype application today, you should do it right now. Especially, if you are using Skype on Windows, Android or iOS platforms; Skype will crash if someone sends you a message that's as simple as https://:. All the older versions of Skype on Windows, Android and iOS are affected; but not Skype for OSX.
Unfortunately, once the message is received, Skype will not start. Even if you restart your Skype app, it will try to download your Chat History from its servers and as soon as it encounters above characters, it will stop working.
On Windows and iOS, the re-starting the application will work. Note that this bug does not crash the sender's software. The only way to fix this problem is to update your Skype app as soon as possible.
