Skating 'Board Of Imagination' Is Brainwaves Controlled! [Video]

Chaotic Moon Labs (CM.Labs), the company known for being a really good mobile application studio is here to amaze us again. They were the talk of the CES 2012 event when their product 'Board of Awesomeness', a kinect-powered, motorized skateboard controlled by waving of hands, was showcased. Now, we have something more awesome from their team. It is called the 'Board of Imagination'. And what would impress you is that it does not need a controller. It converts brainwaves (read imagination) into action. LookMano hands!

As you can see from the image above, in the front the skateboard has a Windows 8 Developer Preview powered Samsung Tablet.  This works as the brain. It has a 800 watt electric motor that can run the skateboard with the speed of up to hitting speeds of up to 32 miles per hour. The rider will wear an integrated Emotiv EPOC Headset, which is capable of capturing your imagination and making the moves. So, basically you just have to imagine yourself going somewhere and off you go. The headset conveys your brainwaves to the Emotive Engine, that sends appropriate signals to the motor controller which does the required actions.

The Chaotic Moon Labs team is planning to open-source the code behind the board. Information regarding the same will be up on their website. It just makes you want to say, "Shut Up and Take My Money!"
