Singapore's SkyPark (Marina Bay Sands) Is AWESOME!

One of the smallest countries in the world now has world's most expensive stand-alone resort property, which is also a man-made wonder. I'm talking about Singapore Marina Bay Sands (SkyPark). The SkyPark is has been opened for everyone today. I first spotted SkyPark on Discovery Channel and found out that the construction is really impressive!

#-Link-Snipped-#The construction comprises of three 55-story towers that host casinos, shopping malls, restaurants, science museums topped by a 340 meter long park! The structure can accommodate 3900 people and also has 150m swimming pool. The museum, theater and floating pavilions are still under construction and the building will be 100% ready by December 2010.

This marvel has been designed by Architect & Urban Designer Moshe Safdie. There are four movement joints beneath the main pools, designed to help them withstand the natural motion of the towers, and each joint has a unique range of motion. The total range of motion is 19.68 inches (500 millimeters).

I sometimes wonder whether man-made structure are more beautiful than nature. Think about it.
