hey guys i want to know what is the signiificance of
1)The Fouries series
2) Guard bands in frequency spectrum.

    In mathematics, a Fourier series decomposes a periodic function into a sum of simple oscillating functions, namely sines and cosines (or complex exponentials)

    Guard bands are used to provide a gap between adjacent channels in a frequency spectrum because it simplifies the design of filters for the channels without the need to worry about Adjacent Channel interference.
