It's been so frustrating to fix the database errors the code's generating during the peak load times. I just hope that we figure out a way to prevent these errors. Too bad - I can't even post the errors here for public view as we're executing it to reveal a vulnerability. 😐 .

My project is based on File Synchronization.
i have to create a File Sync System/Software like microsoft's SyncToy.
i am using visual studio c# .net and Sync framework to do this project.
This project is aimed to synching files between computers connected in the same network or between other external devices or folders.
And also it should be able to run at scheduled times and offline...
there will be a folder pair (A & B).
sync occurs from A to B always.
In synctoy, there are 3 ways to sync files : echo, contribute , synchronize
but i think it is a bit complicated....so I would want to make it a little simpler.
we should be able to :
-select the files which we want to sync
-then have sync options lik : oneway sync, twoway sync, etc.
the remaining specifications would be similar to SyncToy.
I have attached the papers & code of my project and the base paper of an exhisting system with this mail.

yes i had used the report button for posts of Cean ET for image issues in his post
and used it today to report my own and deletion of my excess posts due to trial of uploading the image

According to me, Frustration is like going mad😡, really mad (not sad) where you feel like breaking something for something / someone being highly unreasonable. Like I always felt for my landlord when I used to stay in hostel. 😁😡

So getting to the point, my chat list was invisible completely. I was unable to see anybody's name but yours.
Some time later, Dileep came online and I saw his red light glow.
I thought it was some update by Google. But it wasn't. I cannot give you the technical details but opening internet on Mozilla firefox, solved the problem.
However, the problem with Chrome still persisted.
So I rebooted my computer and did a complete antivirus scan. Now I was able to see everybody's name when I operated on Chrome.
Was it a virus? A technical tweak by Google? I don't know. But at the end of the day, I did some Jugaad and everything is set right. 😀

Nope, I tried between 10 am to 12.30 pm. And I've tried almost with all the browsers. After payment processing, I was getting a white screen instead of my ticket. Payments made, but no tickets. May be I'll be refunded all that payment in 2-3 days, right?
It went fine now. Booked after all the headache anyway!

It is quite easy. We always think of some kind of thoughts when we read a post/thread topic on the forum. It takes just a couple of minutes to jot them down. If all the regular CEans follow this, the length and quality of discussions will increase.

Where did you order it from? A lot would depend on the courier service. I had ordered a CE Custom T-Shirt and the standard mail delivery took about 7 weeks. 😲
RP in India can only be ordered from Kits and Parts Website for Personal Buyer. In general the site is taking bulk orders and Procuring from Element 14.

1. My evdo stop working. I comtacted bsnl and they said the older connections cannot be put on National roaming. So now my only friend in this strange city has left me.

However, the problem with my data card is, I've bought it a long ago when the BSNL started EVDO. At that time, the cards were configured to be used only in the city of their origin. Later they did activated national roaming, but that was just for slower 1X network. I tried to sort out by modifying the firmware but it actually messed up more. Anyhow, now I've taken a wired connection from Airtel, so my connectivity problem is also solved..😀

The FUP thing is kinda pathetic. India seems to be going backwards. I was thinking like till 2012 we will have 4 MBPS unlimited for 1K or so, but instead of unlimited HS, they rolled out this FUP bullshit. TRAI should upgrade the speed requirements for a connection to be called as broadband. Till this date, 256 kbps is considered as a broadband & telecom companies are taking great advantage of this. They will write
Unlimited Broadband 4 MBPS.
* 4Mbps only for 1 GB.
* Post FUP, 256 kbps.
Now, even at 256 kbps, its still a broadband as per TRAI specifications, so technically its indeed unlimited broadband. As per the current modernization, the specification should be increased to at least 1 Mbps to be called as broadband.

Change your router to something else which filters useless traffic. I feel, for your FTTH service you must get more then 180 KB/s speed man.
Well, I have Helped myself by simply writing a simple script to run WiFi hot spot in my Nokia lumina. Speed is nothing to cherish about, but laptops and my nexus is always connected. So I vote for a phone based hotspot

i have to create a File Sync System/Software like microsoft's SyncToy.
i am using visual studio c# .net and Sync framework to do this project.
This project is aimed to synching files between computers connected in the same network or between other external devices or folders.
And also it should be able to run at scheduled times and offline...
there will be a folder pair (A & B).
sync occurs from A to B always.
In synctoy, there are 3 ways to sync files : echo, contribute , synchronize
but i think it is a bit complicated....so I would want to make it a little simpler.
we should be able to :
-select the files which we want to sync
-then have sync options lik : oneway sync, twoway sync, etc.
the remaining specifications would be similar to SyncToy.
I have attached the papers & code of my project and the base paper of an exhisting system with this mail.

Story:
My friend 'A' works at the Advertising Press and gets VIP tickets for most of the concerts/events held in Kochi, Kerala, India. He basically taught me how to drive my scooter, also taught me how to cook, etc. Basically, he's like a brother I never had before.
My friend 'B' - we studied in the same college, he was the first ranker, he taught all of us before exams, later he studied CCNA and MCITP with me, now he also works with me in the same company and also in the same shift! As weird as it may seem, he is a good barber too, and die hard crazy about cricket! 'B' has just recovered from Viral Meningitis about a month ago (I had talked about this on another thread), but he still has to take medicines for another 6 months. 'B' can however be a little stubborn and selfish at times.
'A', 'B' and me - we're roomates.
Today is the India vs West Indies match at Kochi, Kerala, India. 'A' got one Rs3000 worth VIP ticket to the game last night from his boss and he told me that he would be trying to get more.
Last time for the 'Celebrity Cricket League', we got tickets from Police officers - they had apparently caught black-marketers and were giving away the tickets that they caught to everyone standing near them for free. Today at 1 pm 'B' woke me up from my sleep and asked me to take him to the stadium to see if he can get hold of a 'ticket' from somewhere. I assured him that this was the actual ODI and he shouldn't think of getting lucky - and I returned to sleep. But at 1:10pm in the afternoon, 'A' called and informed me that he got another VIP ticket too. He is fond of me as we're good friends and asked me to accompany him to the game. I had asked him long back (apparantly while 'B' was hospitalized) for a ticket to the games; but unfortunately today I was (am now too) actually unwell and have taken two paracetamol tablets to soothe my fever. I asked 'A' if he would take 'B' instead of me. 'A' however is not that fond of 'B' because he has felt the selfishness get a little too personal, and so he told me that he has other friends who had asked him as well to consider, before he considers taking 'B' with him to the game. I said fine and kept the phone. However, to my bad luck 'B' overheard my conversation and asked me what was I talking about. I told him (had too as we had a conversation last night about tickets). He got really pissed off (eyes went red and I thought he was boiling with anger), and he called 'A' and (I should quote this) "demanded" to be taken instead of me, after telling him some real bad words and also told him not to come home again if he doesn't. I have never seen 'B' go crazy after he was back to work from recovering from Viral Meningitis. 'A' called after 10 minutes and asked 'B' to come to the stadium ASAP. 'B' again 'ordered' me to take him to the stadium (it's 20 minutes by bike), and so I did. - was too scared to say no! At the stadium, I called 'A' to ask where he was and for the first 2 minutes he shouted and scolded me through the phone. He is pissed off badly!
I just gave up a Rs3000 VIP ticket to a cricket game for an ungrateful friend by pissing another good friend off!
All I can say is "Shit Happens!". You were 'dragged' into everything and your intentions were right. Let some time pass and talk to both of your friends. You've got to tell your friends that it was after all a stupid cricket match! 😀

Chromebooks do work offline, infact almost every app alongwith Gdocs & Gmail is working offline (ofcourse you can't send mail w/o internet,lol) so even without internet you can still use the device & work on it.
More to that, you can install any Linux based distribution alongside ChromeOS using Crouton & enjoy ChromeOS alongwith your favourite linux distro.
