Scout Is Telenav's Personalized Navigation Service To Work With SYNC

Tech savvy drivers will soon find a way to talk with their cars. Telenav Connected Car Solutions for Navigation, Entertainment and Commerce has launched location based app called 'Scout' at CES. The American car company Ford, has chosen this app which allows personalizing the navigation settings of driving to work with SYNC® AppLink™. The automobile company is nowadays in #-Link-Snipped-# who want to develop SYNC compatible apps. Scout is set to become an easy to use feature which will enable hands free service to drivers!

The basic function that Scout serves is to avoid re-entering data every time you switch your device. It enables the system to share data from computer to phone and from Phone to car. In other words, repeating instructions is avoided. Scout is a daily personal navigator, providing information about journey and is customized for every driver.

When you take a look at features of Scout, you will feel that it covers all facilities required usually during driving. For example, the app provides information about traffic jams during daily commute by using 'My Traffic' feature or simply you can know more about the nearby destinations by using 'My Places' feature. With the addition of Voice control, using the app by Telenav has become still more interesting. The app can be downloaded at #-Link-Snipped-#. Telenav has also #-Link-Snipped-# to help people integrate web based navigation services with Scout.

Ford has recently made several additions to the technology to assist in driving apart from its ever continuing research on green technology. Ford is also working for establishing its own research facility in Silicon Valley. It aims to collaborate with start-up firms and established organizations in further development of automobile technology.
