Scanner MC1000 - Motorola Problem

Hi guys,

I have got problems with the Scanner MC1000 from Motorola. A few customers of my company are using this Mobile-Scanner with our own written software.

2 of them got a specific problem nearly everytime they are using it. They are scanning some articles(Barcodes) and after a random amount of scanning iterations, the scanning unit does not recognize the barcodes anymore. It seems like it has hung up, but all the other functions run normally, only the scanning unit is not recognizing the BCs.
I've been trying the same for a thousands of times now on a test scanner. I also got the same problem. Once I can scan 5 articles then it crashes, another time i can scan 50 articles, then it crashes.
There is no regulary system to find out, when it crashes.
The only thing I could discover is, that the older MC1000-Scanners from "Symbol" are not having this issue.

I tried also to contact Motorola Support, but they only refer to their reseller companys and don't support me.

One of my customer is almost getting it shut, because no way working with it.
