Samsung Super OLED 3D TV With Smart Interaction Technology

What do you expect when a big TV giant like LG announces a 55-inch OLED TV? Another OLED TV by another big manufacturer! Well, it happened and Samsung today announced its very own 55-inch Super OLED. No, I am not kidding, it really is the name of the TV!

Samsung has been quite successful with OLED products like phones, cameras, tablets etc. This time company has gone a step ahead and brought in an OLED TV. Coming to the features, first of all it does look awesome! It is designed to give “true to life” picture quality in both 2D and 3D. The light output here is controlled on a pixel-to-pixel basis, so the blacks would be darker and the whites would be brighter! It is just 0.3 inch thick which gives an impression of thin sheet of glass. Super OLED has faster response time, so it can “virtually eliminate motion blur” in fast moving scenes. The TV doesn’t require a backlight as it contains self-emitting RGB sub-pixels. It will be powered by a dual core processor.

That’s it? Well, no! One of the most amazing features of the product is Smart Interaction Technology. Samsung has clubbed this TV with a camera and two unidirectional array microphones, which allow you to interact with your TV. It has got Voice Control, Motion Control and Face Recognition features. Now, you can tell your TV to shut up, if you don’t like the show its running! You can even search the web using voice control. Samsung AllShare Play allows easy access to cloud storage. Like the product name, the release date and price are also missing, but it is supposed to be shipped in latter half of 2012.
