Samsung Galaxy Tab, 7" Android Tablet Launched In India And Price In India

October 29: Samsung Electronics India has launched its popular tablet - Samsung Galaxy Tab in India - one of the first three markets in the world to get this device. The 7" Android OS powered device is a big brother of Samsung Galaxy S phone which has already sold over 1 million units all over the world and the number is growing fast.

The device is powered by Android 2.2 which means you get access to over 100,000 Android Marketplace Applications, both free and paid. You can edit and view all Microsoft Office documents like .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx and other supported formats. The device is powered packed with A-GPS and maps are provided by MapMyIndia and Google Maps. The tab's got 3MP camera. The device has 16GB of Internal Memory and it can be expanded up to 32 GB through MicroSD Card. Unlike Apple's iPad, this tablet fully supports Adobe Flash 10!

The company has started pre-booking and the orders will be processed starting November 10, 2010. Major Indian telecom operators like Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and Tata Docomo are likely to announce their 3G service plans and offers for this device very soon.

The device is priced at Rs. 38,000 and is 100 percent value for money.
