Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 Tablet In The Works - Spotted At FCC
It has now become officially true that a new tablet from Samsung, the South Korean giant, would be hitting the markets as early as 2014. Spotted passing through FCC Bluetooth certification process, the new tablet is called Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 - an Android Tablet with a 12.2-inch screen featuring a 2560 x 1600px resolution display. As per the tech specs rumored on various tech blogs, the Galaxy Note 12.2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor and come with 3GB of RAM. There are high chances that the tablet will run the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. If the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 does features the S-Pen, as is being rumored in the tech specs, inspite the massive size, the tablet could be a big hit among graphic designers as well as the common users. If it is creating documents or presentations or simply taking notes - we all agree that if it's portable-enough - the bigger is the better.
The Galaxy Note 12.2 was first seen in a leaked photo in early September and now with it having appeared in the Bluetooth certification process and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group as well as these FCC Listings, the day doesn't look far when Samsung will make an official announcement regarding the new tablet.
According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 features dimensions of 295mm (height) and 204mm (width). If the mass production of this Android does really begin by the end of 2013, we have all reasons to believe that Samsung will showcase the Note 12.2 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2014.
Just two days back, we reported about the Samsung SM-G7102 Is Another 5.2 Inch, Android 4.3 Smartphone In The Works - which has a 5.2-inch screen (same as the Galaxy Note) and may be targeted at the developing markets like India and Europe. The Samsung SM-G7102 has a HD resolution screen with 720x1280 pixels and the listing hints at Dual SIM support and the smartphone running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. From the FCC data, it has come to light that Samsung SM-G7102 will measure 75.1x147mm (thickness is unknown right now) and come with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G.
