As we’re eagerly waiting for Samsung to introduce their Galaxy S6 flagship on 1st March, the company is making their lower-end offers available. The South Korean giant, Samsung had unveiled the affordable Galaxy J1 last month and now it is all set to launch the device in the Indian market. After being introduced in the Malaysian market recently, it was just a matter of time before the smartphone reached India. The phone will be available exclusively via Amazon India at Rs. 7,190. Moroever, the e-commerce giant has also promised exciting new offers for the buyers.
As far as the specifications are considered, the phone flaunts a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. The device sports a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, FM and Bluetooth. It packs a 1,850 mAh battery and will be available in White, Black and Blue colors.
