While we're yet to discover the Windows version of the browser, let us take you through what's new in Safari 6 for OSX folks. As you'd expect with any major browser upgrade - Safari 6 renders JavaScript & HTML faster, making your web pages load quicker. Other important features are as follows -
The Unified Smart Search : Safari engineers seem to be impressed by Chrome's omni-box like the rest of us. The new Safari features a single box for URLs and search keywords. Safari goes a step beyond and even fills the URL for you and it does is intelligently. It keeps a track of your history and searches so that it can take you to what you're looking for in no time.
The TAB View & iCloud Tabs (Mountain Lion Exclusive): The Lion and Snow Leopard users are going to miss out on the TAB view as it's only available on Mountain Lion. The feature gives you an overview of the tabs you've opened and allows you to use multi-touch gestures to navigate through the tabs.

Let's say you are reading an interesting discussion on #-Link-Snipped-# and you want to continue reading it in your office on your iPhone. Simply open the discussion in 'iCloud Tab' and Safari will ensure that you will get to that page on your iPhone right away. No need to keep track of everything. iCloud tabs feature does it for you, automatically. You can of course turn on 'Private Browsing' to ensure that other devices don't know what you've been browsing on your desktop.
Sharing Out Of The Box (Mountain Lion Exclusive) : This is an interesting feature in new Safari. Through the new sharing feature, you can choose from various options like "Add to reading list", "Add bookmark", "Email this page", "Message", "Twitter", "Facebook" etc. Safari presents these options on its interface so that you can quickly share things through a nice interface. Since the new OSX integrates well with the social networks, you don't have to login to the services every time you want to share something.
In addition to these, there are several other features available. You can check the complete list on <a href="https://www.apple.com/safari/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Safari - Apple</a>. Do take a look and tell us what you think.
