  • Mad Catz has released it's new gaming keyboard - 'S.T.R.I.K.E 7' at Gamescom earlier today. It comes in full metal framework that adds to it's durability and is not merely a single keyboard - It includes 4 attachments along with the main keyboard. Different elements of the package include a touchscreen, a numpad, a 3-part adjustable palm rest, 2 wrist rests, a function strip and the main keyboard. Each of the different part is detachable from the main keyboard and can be adjusted the way user wants.

The V.E.N.O.M touchscreen is a LCD that allows easy access to some of the keyboard functions such as controlling volume, launching apps and websites, controlling TeamSpeak (that allows the players to chat). The numpad can either be used independently or can be attached to either right or left of the main keyboard. Palm rest is height-adjustable attachment that includes a thumb wheel and action buttons. The function strip includes 4 programmable macro keys which can either be used with the main keyboard or with the numpad. The main keyboard allows the user to interchange WASD and cursor keys making it optimally adjustable to user convenience. All the keys are capable of producing full RGB backlighting with 16 million colours. Check out the video for a clearer view:
