Robotic Spider @ MIT Media Lab

A three-week old robot at the MIT Media Lab is weaving a cocoon-like structure with a little programming help from humans. But it needs to be noted that the robot's arm's movements are hard-coded. The brains behind say that they are planning to see eventually make it autonomous. I think the actions of the robot are a little too slow.

What do you think?
