They also have a responsibility to harness these technologies for common good and strive to prevent their possible ill effects. In this era of rapid growth in technology, the National Conference will play a significant role in generating awareness about the potential and the limitations of new technologies, concepts and trends. The chief objective of ATEMT-09 is to bring together experts from industries, academia, R&D institutions and other user communities on a common platform to discuss and share their expertise in, ideas about and experiences with these technologies and trends. This initiative is also expected to result in original contribution towards development and improvement in the treatment of core branches in the fields of engineering and management.
