How does reverse power fault in a generator occurs and what are its causes?

uday852reverse power occurs in generator when two generator are running in parallel

[Prototype]Reverse Power fault occurs when the generator's prime mover is unable to move the rotor at a required frequency. Thus due to this, the generator will actually start drawing the current instead of supplying. In other words, the generator will start acting as a motor.
