Reliance Digital unveils LYF C451 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone at INR 4,999

Reliance LYF, the subsidiary of Reliance Retail, has launched a new smartphone device dubbed LYF C451 in its pocket friendly LYF series. The light weight handset with premium design would be available in white with golden rim. It sports an USB On-the-go (OTG) support to access and transfer media files from a pen drive. Coming with gesture control LYF C451 enables quick access to the camera or the music player, right from the locked screen. Assigning gesture characters C, e, O, W launches one's favourite apps from the secured screen.

One can draw the first letter of the app such as ‘m’ on locked screen to play and pause music or slide right/left to navigate songs. On specifications front, the device features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display with 2D Asahi Glass protection on the top. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. It further sports dual-SIM slots (4G+2G); both SIM slots are 4G enabled. However at one time only one slot can be used for 4G while the other will work on 2G.

Running on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, it offers 8 GB of internal storage and an expandable memory of 128 GB via micro SD card slot. Fired up by a 2800 mAh lithium-ion battery the smartphone provides talktime of up to 12.5 Hours (4G) with stand-by time of up to 240 Hours.

The photography features include a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. The other camera features include face detection, multi-shot, panorama, Geo tagging, touch to focus, red eye detection, smile, gaze and blink detection. LYF C451 would retail via Reliance Digital’s official e-store and Jio users are set to receive 20 percent additional data as per the promotional offer.
