hello everyone, i`m Arpit n probably the newest member here.
i`m in final year of IT engg, planning to do a project on IDS(Intrusion Detection Syatems) but couldn`t find any info on the internet about how to implement it😕,
i have plenty of information about wat r the types, where to deploy it etc..
if anyone of you have done it or know something about it plz help me!
or if u have a better Project topic in Networking please suggest one!

    There are tools that are available. One of them is Snort.

    Arpit try to get in touch with a group known as the EHA - Ethical Hackers Association. Its led by Shomiron Das Gupta, who is a cofounder of NetMonastery (check their site), he also is an advisor for NASSCOM and has helped out Mumbai Cyberbranch as well. EHA is Mumbai based, you will find a lot of whitepapers on the NetMonastery site as well.
