The Razer Phone has been built by using the expertise of Nextbit. As you might remember Nextbit, the makers of Robin smartphone were acquired by Razer last year. Razer wanted a piece of the smartphone market and a smartphone was in the making since. Razer has focused on making the Razer Phone as a complete entertainment solution and it has implemented the following features to make it one. The Razer Phone is the first smartphone in the world to have a display with refresh rate of 120Hz. As some of you might know the iPad Pro was the first tablet with a 120Hz display and this is the first smartphone to do that. The Razer Phone has an unusual 5.72inch IGZO LCD display with Quad HD resolution. This is the same kind of display that Razer uses on its gaming monitor range. Display done, it is time to talk about the audio. The Razer Phone has front facing speakers with dedicated amplifiers and is powered by Dolby Atmos. The Razer Phone has a USB Type C port and no headphone jack and that is why in the box you have a THX certified USB C audio adapter. THX is another of Razer’s acquisitions.
