The Raspberry Pi team has now released their first SD card image, the Debian-based OS known as 'Raspbian'. This update brings for us the complete advantage of Raspberry Pi’s floating point hardware and a faster web browsing experience. Apart from that, the firmware, kernel and the applications get some tweaks and performance improvements. Furthermore, there is an omxplayer accelerated media player that comes preinstalled with this image.
