Questions about the mixer grinder
Here are some queries regarding the domestically used mixer grinder:
1) If this machine uses a universal motor, then how come it has a speed selector, now that speed control is not possible in universal motors ?
2). Almost all the grinders available in the market have something called a "pulse speed". To apply this, the rotary type speed controller switch has to be turned in the anti-clock wise direction beyond, the "off" position, and has to be held in that position, through out the operation. why is this ? can anyone elaborate ?
3) At the base of all the machines, there is some small red coloured push button, called the over load protector switch. What is it, and what is it used for ?
