    query for my confusion:

    hi..........
im interested in going to top, if not possible then atleast to good colleges anywhere according to my percentage and if i get the below ielts scores.

I want to take my exams in june 2009. i have not booked the date yet.

so please tell me about these:

1.How to book an exam date for ielts. i.e-- is there any website, or should i go to any place to book the date.

2.what are the countries open for ielts score. please exactly specify all the countries.

3.I plan to go for U.K. But my colleagues, friends, and relatives said that its not better to go now. Because there are no part time jobs available now, they also said, I have to wait for about 3 months while studying to get a part time job after going there. If U.K is better suggest it else please suggest an another good country.

4.I had done my B.Tech - Electronics and communication Engineering and passed out in 2008. Now i have two back logs which would complete in month of april 2009. and my B.tech percentage is 53%.

So, If I get ielts score of 6 or 6.5 or 7.0 or more, What are the countries i can try. and what is the specialised course i can take. (please specify all the countries clearly. and also the courses)
im interested taking course realted to "Electronics and communication".

I dont think UK colleges accept the IELTS score. They tend to go with TOEFL. IELTS is accepted in Australia, and it's a good country to go for higher education these days.

The course depends entirely on your interests and the courses available in the college of your selection. Mostly, in US and UK colleges, you wont find an Electronics or communication department. It's simply Electrical and Computer science engineering that encompasses everything in electronics too. So, course selection must be entirely up to you.

And about part time jobs, I've no idea.

    thank u for ur replies

but my main idea to write this post is to know about the part the part tome jobs, so that i can decide whether go to UK or try for another country. As I have less time to think about it I must know it as soon as possible.

If U know any websites to know about it please suggest me and surely i will enquire it from others also.

Ah ok. Anyways to get a score which is not less than 7 is not so difficult i think.. some of my friends went to UK last month for doing MBA. and another friend of mine is will go to UK hopefully in next month. 3 of them were Civil engineers and one Mech engineer. Another friend of mine whos an ECE engineer is now studying in Australia. So i dont think there is any problems for studying there. And all of them got part time jobs also
