PS4 Software Update (1.75) Adds Blu-Ray 3D Support
PS4's scored one more point over XBOX ONE today as it rolled out the latest system software update version 1.75. The latest firmware adds Blu-Ray 3D video support to the PS4 console advancing it as a multimedia machine and not just a pure-play gaming machine. It's been several weeks that a new feature was introduced to the PS4 system. The April 2014 update brought Playstation Update: Sharefactory & Brand New Features. It's just been a week that the firmware update 1.74 was released that brought more stability to the console.
The announcement was made through official #-Link-Snipped-# twitter handle. In the mean time, Microsoft's XBOX team has responded by saying that the 3D Blu-Ray support is coming XBOX ONE as well; but no release date has been confirmed. The feature has been one of the most requested feature by all the owners around the world.
What's missing from PS4 now is the DLNA support which would make Playstation 4 a complete multimedia solution for your living room. Playstation owners may quickly upgrade their machines to the latest firmware and start enjoying 3D Blu-Ray movies.
