Polaroid Cube+ Action Camera Gets WiFi And Two New Funky Color Options

Polaroid Corporation was influential in making the lifestyle action cameras popular with their interestingly shaped Polaroid Cube snapper. At the CE Week 2015 in New York City, the company announced a new iteration of its device, now called Polaroid Cube+ and this time the camera has become Wi-Fi enabled. Not only can Cube+ capture still images and record 1080 pixel HD videos, but it also packs the power to store up to 32 GB data via Micro SD. Among the new additions to note, there's two new color options: fluorescent green and hot pink. (See image below) The camera is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets and users can install the Cube+ app to sync the photos & videos captured instantly.

The Polaroid Cube+ retain the original 35mm sized cube design and features a simple one-button design. There's a built-in magnet that lets users stick the Cube+ anywhere be it your helmet or bike or even any household appliance.

Among the various accessories and mounts available for the Polaroid Cube+, there's tripod mount, suction cup mount, waterproof case, strap mount and bumper case that we love the most.

Polaroid Corp also recently launched the "Polaroid Zip Instant Photoprinter" - a compact mobile printer that lets users print and share 2” x 3” photos instantly. Priced at $129.99, the printer supports NFC and Bluetooth.

The Polaroid Cube+ is priced at $149.99 and the new pink & green versions of the original Polaroid Cube will be available in late August for $99.99.
