Polaris officially unviels FT Grid
The FT Grid is available in three different variants to suffice the needs of the different types of clients and to provide reliable services to the three major global markets in the financial technology sector that are Polarisâ forte. The bifurcations in the cloud service have been made to suit the market requirements and geographical conditions as well. The first of these three, FT Grid 7010 Core Banking is the cheapest and low cost CBS, mobile-banking and pre-paid card solutions for global banks in developing nations such as India, Bangladesh, African Countries, Vietnam, etc. The second one, namely FT Grid 8010 Capital Markets basically includes wealth management, mutual funds, brokerage services and risk and treasury applications for maturing markets in the European Union. Last but not the least, FT Grid 9010 Corporate Banking are the services for developed markets like those in the US, Australia, Middle East Asia, etc. Liquidity, payments, collections and customer on boarding, etc are the main areas dealt here.
The FT Grid will usher in a new era of banking services that will change the global banking experience in more than one ways. It is a complete package with a hell lot of options and it can be customized a great deal. Its salient features are its reliability, large capacity; global reach, information security, linguistic and vernacular localization, etc. make it a blessing for the bankers for completing the core banking processes with a minimum fuss. The 24x7x365 customer support facility helps you to troubleshoot any problem immediately.
The cloud will also give an option to the banks and other financial institutions to avail services on per account / branch per month or equivalent usage based charges. There will also be a subsequent cost reduction as the clients will no longer be in need to purchase license and procure maintenance. However, many users are skeptical about the security of these cloud oriented services. For this reason, Polaris has collaborated with the security experts IdenTrustT Inc. which has substantial experience in security, PKI technology and identity business. This is enough to assure a safe and reliable FT Grid. IdenTrust offers an awesome, legally and technologically interoperable environment for authenticating and using identities worldwide. It is the pioneer in bank-developed identity authentication systems. IBM will be partnering Polaris to develop and maintain the platform technology for the FT Grid.
