Pinball Machine Built From K'NEX

Andrew loves engineering and pinball as well. That's the reason he's spent 4 months in building a full sized pinball machine from the K'NEX. But what Andrew's developed is surely inspiring to those who want to build something awesome in their spare time. Andrew says there are three main features of his machine. There are two holes on the floor that lead to the chain lifts. The video that he filmed (video embedded below) shows the path the ball travels through when dropped in the hole. The lift will drop the ball into a flipper which will drive the ball on to a tubed path that will take the ball for a spin around the machine. The ball the comes to the center of the machine where Andrew says the things get more complicated.

The next feature is next to the left flipper. The ball drops underneath the pinball machine and a chain lift carries it back to the roof of the machine. The ball then gets dropped into a red/green track. Andrew says that he spent a majority of his time in building the third feature - which is the second hole in the floor. A mill lift carries the ball to the top, and drops the ball into a holder. At this stage, a second ball is required to release the first ball and two small chain lifts carry both balls back before getting dropped. Now both the balls roll through a double loop and then through a single loop to reach the table safely. Andrew says that he employed only one motor to power all the three chain lifts in his machine.
