Hi all,
Could anyone shed some light on the physical significance of "joint distribution function". What does it actually mean?
Say for instance, there is a distribution function given by f(x,y) = (1/(x+y)). What information can be inferred from this declaration?
Try to explain it in as simple words as possible (assume, for the time being, that I am naive to engineering)
