Guys,Can anyone explain me what exactly is Bending Moment?
I do not need those bookish definations...What does it mean practically?

If Bending Moment is high along one axis, then will bending will occur around that axis or some other?
Plz pour in whatever you know...

if the moment is responsible for the bending of beam or any other structural element, then it is called as bending moment.
Are you sure? This action cannot be undone.

If moment is applied to the element so that the element bends. Mostly it occurs in structural members, long shaft etc.
