There are a large number of graphic editing programs which are available in the market but the one which stands out amongst them is the Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is regarded by many as the best graphic editing program available in the market. Well for all the technology enthusiast here is a good news. Adobe in its recently concluded Photoshop world conference introduced a prototype program of Photoshop for iPad.

#-Link-Snipped-#Already there are some Photoshop applications which are available in the market but they lack some of the main features of the Photoshop. Adobe might be successful in bringing a whole Desktop like experience of Photoshop for the tablet market. There are already a large number of graphic editing programs which are available in the tablet market like Brushes, Inspire Pro, Zen brushes and Inkpad which provides a god number of imaging options. There are also applications like Photosmith and LRpad which have the potential to step into the daily life of photographers. Therefore Adobe has to make sure that the Photoshop app it introduces must be different from the apps which are available in the market.

John Liacono leader of Adobe Photoshop and other creative suite software showed some of the features of this prototype software. Liacono was able to demonstrate a number of features like the image being easily rotated and scaled quickly with the help of touch interface. They were also successful in merging different elements of different photos and to create layers which essentially require a lot of ram and processing power. Parts of one layer were made transparent and so that the images or contents of the lower layer were now visible. In order words Adobe was able to create hype around its new product and was successful.

Adobe now faces the tough task of standing up to its own expectations and creates a successful product for the tablet market which is slowly but steadily encroaching the Desktop and the Laptop industry. According to me this is not the end of apps war in the tablet market and it has a lot to offer. In words of Liacono “Technology we are looking at!” [Quoted at #-Link-Snipped-#]. Well the future of the tablet market sure looks interesting.
