It's difficult for us to track user activity in conversations and it's common to see regular / active members receiving personal messages that are spammy in nature. I request you to report such events to admins / mods on immediate basis. If you ignore; other users may get spammed.
Keep the mods engaged in spam cleaning activities. They love it.
