Pay With Square App For Android & iOS - Competition For PayPal Here?
Pay With Square is the new name of Square's payment mobile app called 'Card Case', that lets you discard your wallet, find more businesses around you that you would love, share favorites with friends, and earn rewards. So, basically you pay with your name using Square. This app which was previously available only on iOS, is now ready for Android users too. Moreover, the app comes loaded with a bundle of new features. Looks like Square is driving accelerated launch process, because we saw the launch of Square Register iPad app earlier this month.

This 'Pay With Square' app is useful only when the merchants accept Square. And currently there are just about 75,000 of them out there who are ready. The app will have the user's credit/debit card information saved. The customers will have to fill his/her app with âmobile cardsâ that contains all the vital information he/she needs to know like the merchant contact info, coupons, menus, comments and reviews from other customers, order and purchase history, photos etc. This makes shopping a lot easier. There are a few interesting features that users would like.
With this app, you can walk up into a store and the shopkeeper (who has the app too) will receive a notification about your presence using the geofencing technology. You can order or buy whatever you want and the app will take care of the expenses. There is a search feature at your disposal that lets you a see a map highlighting the merchants near you. Merchants will be happy to use this app because they can now notify their potential customers about the latest offers & keep them updated creating a one-on-one relationship for every customer in the store.
It goes without saying that, #-Link-Snipped-# has just got some serious player in the competitive market. We will have to see, with support for Android from both the players, which company will become more popular with the users. We would like to know your opinions. Meanwhile, take a look at a video from Square explaining the working of this app -
