  • Private social networking app Path has made its way to Windows Phone 8. The app which is still in beta is free to download from the Windows Phone store. The makers of the app collaborated with a team from Microsoft and Nokia to help them develop the Windows Phone 8 version. The app had made a debut in 2010 on iOS and has expanded to Android and its different forms for Amazon Kindle Fire, Google Glass, and Samsung Galaxy Gear. For the uninitiated, Path is a private social network that is meant for sharing posts to family and close friends. The app does not allow you to have over 150 friends. Once you have registered, the app can be used to share photo, video, thought, location and sleep moments among your closest friends.

Like all social networking apps, it too allows you to add filters to photos before uploading. The app also lets you cross-post any Path moment from the app to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Foursquare. One of the most interesting things about the app is that it lets users reply to your posts not just with likes and comments but also with smiles, laughs, gasps, loves etc.

Since the app is in beta, users are complaining about a few bugs #-Link-Snipped-# on Windows Phone Store. We hope that the developers have taken notice and will be able to perfect the app before the final release.
