Papa Mau - Wave powered robot crosses 9k nautical mile journey in Pacific

Liquid Robotics' Papa Mau - the Pacific Crossing (PacX) wave powered robot,  has completed 9000 nautical mile (= 10357 miles) journey across the Pacific ocean. Papa Mau is now the officially world record holding autonomous vehicle to travel the Pacific. Liquid Robotics confirmed that the bot traveled on the prescribed path collecting and transmitting ocean related data for over 365 days. Liquid Robotics is thrilled to see the wave glider technology survive long distance journey in the high seas.
