With the power of computing and aesthetic looks, Panasonic has introduced its two new phones at the Mobile World Congress 2012. The #-Link-Snipped-# and the #-Link-Snipped-#; both phones seems to be super performers, while Panasonic Eluga Power leads the way. Unifying an 1800 mAh supercharged battery along with the Qualcommâs Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5 GHz processor to run Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the Eluga Power serves as the king of Panasonicâs smartphone series.

The deviceâs name is based on the acronym âelegant user-oriented gatewayâ to typify a smartphone that holds both design and performance. The device bears a waterproof and dustproof cabinet as that of the Eluga. You need not worry about your device slipping out of your pockets into the water. But that does not mean you can take your device for a dive. It can withstand a maximum depth of one meter under water for about an hour.
In addition, the Eluga Power extends additional functionalities; just to say, the device supports Near-Field Communication (NFC) for payment over the air. Â You would not miss your favorite capture; the smartphone sports an 8 Megapixels AF camera that promises to capture 1080p full HD video with a flavor of automatic scene recognition.
It is confirmed that both the Eluga and #-Link-Snipped-# will be brought out in the European market in April. As of now, the company hasnât informed the official pricing but we expect the price to be no less than EUR400.
