  • Panasonic India Updates LUMIX Range With DMC-FZ1000 And DMC-FZ300, 4K Cameras

    Panasonic has updated its LUMIX range of digital cameras with DMC-FZ1000 and DMC-FZ300 models. These two new cameras promise breathtaking 4K photographs and videos at an affordable price range. The DMC-FZ1000 is priced at Rs. 45990, while the DMC-FZ300 will set you back by about Rs. 58,990. Panasonic informed through a press release that both these new models are equipped with wide angle LEICA senses along with pretty looking OLED viewfinders.

    Equipped with highly sensitive MOS sensors along with Panasonic's Venus Image Processor, both DMC-FZ1000 And DMC-FZ300 are capable of superior color reproduction. Panasonic also says that the cameras can keep the noise levels to lowest even when shooting in low light conditions.

    The official PR highlights 0.09 seconds of autofocus time and a quick boot time of 0.66 seconds for these new models. All that means is that you can get your system ready to shoot very quickly and not miss any important event.

    The DMC-FZ1000 has a 20.1 MP MOS sensor and 16x optical zoom. It also comes equipped with a 5-axis HYBRID Optical Image Stabilizer. The vibrations and shaky hands are taken care of by 5-step speed control.

    The DMC-FZ300 is more rugged of the two and it boasts of splash and dust-proof body. Panasonic informs that it's ideal for outdoor photo shoots. This model has a 12.1 MP sensor coupled with 24x optical zoom; which should help you capture objects at a longer range.

    Panasonic informs that one of the most impressive functions of these models is that users will be able to extract an 8MP photo-frame from a 4K video footage.

    Product head at Panasonic India, Mr. Gaurav Ghavri spoke to the media at the launch event saying that the company sees lot of potential in the Indian market for 4K imagery. We look forward to opinions and views about these new cameras from the photographers on CrazyEngineers.
