Panasonic Corporation has announced a 4K/30p Wearable Camera - the HX-A500 and entitled it as the world's first. The one-of-its-kind wearable camcorder is water and dust-proof and features a level shot image stabilizer keep videos level on the go and a built-in 1.5-inch color LCD to see what you are recording. You can connect the cam to your smartphone or tablet using WiFi or NFC. The lightweight camera has a main unit and a lens unit. You can mount the lens unit anywhere and enjoy the comfort of hand-free video shooting. Moreover, this one has the highest resolution for a wearable Camera with facility to capture 4K video i.e. 4 times the resolution of Full HD.

Thanks to the Ultra Wide Angle, the Panasonic HX-A500 can shoot up to maximum 160 degree. While the Crystal Engine Pro+ provides outstanding image processing. Users can shoot at high frame rates in three resolutions: 1920 × 1080 pixels at 60 fps; 1280 × 720 pixels at 120 fps; and 848 × 480 pixels at 240 fps. What really gripped our attention though, was the optional set of accessories that accompany the wearable cam. These include - Multi Mount for goggles or a backpack strap, Clip Mount for caps, Tripod Mount and a Wind Jammer that shields the mic so you can get a clear sound track when shooting on a bicycle, motorbike, or in windy conditions. There are also the options of Multi Belt - that neatly holds the main unit and cable around the waist or across your body from the shoulder. Take a look at these images -

With the image app, users can easily edit highlighted scenes in one clop and upload it to the internet with an option of automatic selection. Support for USTREAM gives way for real-time broadcasting, so that your family members don't miss out on an important event. In Europe, the Panasonic HX-A500 camera goes on sale at €429 from May, whereas in the U.S. it will be sold at a price of $400 from July 2014.
