OPPO Mirror 3 Price In India And Specifications Out At Launch

Since entering the mobile market in 2008, OPPO Mobiles India has been steadily introducing new Android smartphones in the Indian market and yesterday it quietly launched the OPPO Mirror 3 phone in the higher budget segment. Featuring a nice 4.7 inch screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution (312 PPI, 16 M colors), the all new OPPO Mirror 3 will be priced in India at Rs. 16,990/-. After introducing the revolutionary OPPO N3 with its rotating camera and then the 4.8mm ultra thin OPPO R5, OPPO's Mirror 3 has a decent set of specifications for the price it is offered at. Let's take a deeper look at the smartphone's specs.

OPPO Mirror 3 comes with an ergonomic arc on its back, a design that is supposed to make the phone fit more naturally into the user's palm. Weighing about 126g and at 8.95mm thickness, the OPPO Mirror 3 features 0.5mm embossed dots on its back cover. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 1.2GHz 64-bit Quad-core processor and an Adreno306 graphics unit, the phone packs 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM and supports up to 128GB microSD card. Running on the Android 4.4-based ColorOS 2.0.1, the Mirror 3 features an 8 megapixel SONY IMX179 BSI sensor rear camera and is said to outperform its rivals in terms of the quality of the front camera with its 5MP capability, the golden shooting angle design, and unique Beautify function.

To control various home appliances, OPPO's Smart Remote Technology 2.0+ can be used to supports transfer protocols with infrared receiving devices such as televisions and air conditioners, for controlling them remotely. In addition to that, there's a 5V-2A charger that can charge the OPPO Mirror 3 smartphone to full power within just 90 minutes. Last but not the least, this smartphone has inbuilt Dual Micro SIM card slots and feature a dual standby mode.

Speaking about the smartphone at the launch event, Mr. Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India, was delighted to share that they are quite confident about the smartphone's phenomenal camera quality striking a chord with the buyer. He said that the image quality of the OPPO Mirror 3 Camera is great during both day or night. The reason behind being 1/3.2 inch sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size, a large F/2.0 aperture, the 5P lens and Blue Light Filter (BLF). With that we come to the end of the important features highlighted by the company.
