Oppo Find 7 launched: 50 MP Photos, Quad HD Display And Much More
Find 7 actually comes with a 13 Mega-Pixel Sony CMOS IMX214 with a lens of f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash. It is this feature called Super Zoom that does the thing by taking 10 consecutive shots rapidly and choosing best 4 to combine them into a 50 Mega-Pixel image. The device uses image signal processor Pure Image 2.0 for this purpose. However, it is reported that the resulting image quality is appreciable. The camera is also capable of recording a 4 K video and 720 p slow motion clips at 120 fps. RAW mode and HDR capable GIF creation are other features completing the camera specs, some of which can also be used through the 5 Mega-Pixel front camera.
The 5.5" display is covered by Gorilla Glass 3. Find 7 has been launched in two variants differentiated by the price tags. The Find 7a or the Find 7 Lite is powered by 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Whereas, its costlier sibling dons a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Find 7a and Find 7 differ in battery power as well, with the earlier equiped with battery power of 2800mAh and the latter with that of 3000mAh. Find 7 boasts of a 'highly-talked-of' quad HD(2560 x 1440) display over Find 7a's 1080p display.
The device will run Color OS 1.2 which is a custom ROM based on Android 4.3. Other features include micro SIM slot, LTE radio for Chinese, European and US models and 3G for Indonesian model, VOOC rapid charging system, etc. Find 7a, priced at 499 USD(approx.), can be ordered from mid-April and the premium model Find 7 is tipped to be available by May or June at a price tag of 599 USD(approx).
