Opera 11.50 Beta 'Swordfish' Available For Download

Opera 11.50 beta nicknamed 'Swordfish' is now available for download. Opera is one of the #-Link-Snipped-#browsers leading the innovation cycle. The new beta introduces password synchronization and speed dial extensions. The software is currently in beta which means the testing phase is on. The 11.50 version extends the speed dial feature - which enables users to quickly visit their most frequently visited websites. With the extensions, Opera will be able to display the updates in real time. What this means is that if you frequently visit a weather information website, Opera will not just display the thumbnail bookmark, but actually display the latest weather information right in the speed dial screen.

The password synchronization feature which has been added lets users synch their password securely so that you can log on to popular social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter or your webmail from anywhere through opera link. The opera link can synchronize password, bookmarks, notes, speed dial preferences, search engine preferences, your typed browser history etc. Jan Standal, VP of desktop products, Opera says that the company does not release newer versions for the sake of releases or innovate just for the sake of innovation. The company is focused on making the web faster and easier to use. The new beta can be downloaded from Opera's Next channel: #-Link-Snipped-#.
