Job description for Document Control Specialist -
Educational qualification -
a) Any Bachelor degree .( B.sc, BCom , BA , Business administration ,BE )
( Degree in Electronics or Statatics or English major would be preferred )
Experience -
a) Min 2 years of experience in Document control . ( Any company )
or
b) Min 1 year experience in document control in an Electronics based company.
Job requirements -
1) Strong verbal & written communication is a must.
2) Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office and e-mail.
3) Must have experience in managing and working with cross functional team members.
4) Strong analytic skills and experience with implementation and administration of ISO standards ,Quality Concepts & metrics.
5) Excellent organizational, time management & interpersonal communication skills is a must.
6) Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality .
7) Knowledge in Quality Concepts , ISO 9001:2008 is desirable.
8) Knowledge in Sub version controls & data analysis is an advantage.
Responsibility -
1) Maintains the QMS documents & other Company related documents .
2) Responsible for overall coordination of controlled documentation within the company.
3) Coordinates with all departments in organization for continuous improvements & updates of QMS documents.
4) Responsible for coordinating document change , facilitates review, approval of Quality documents .
5) Coordinates for Internal audits , Prepares plan , schedule for Internal audits , Organize & consolidate the reports .
Coordinates for getting the NCR's
6) Assist in supporting external audits, coordinating activities with auditors & auditees and ensuring timely response to documentation
requests for auditors.
7) Investigates and responds to corrective actions related to Document Control, Training and External Standards.
8) Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
