Aaron Siego (KDE Hacker) recently announced an OpenHardware development board 'Improv' ,which includes low-end ARM Cortex A7, 1GB RAM, 4 GB NAND Flash, OpenGL ES GPU, 2xUSB2.0, Ethernet ports, HDMI, SDcard Reader,SATA, i2c,TTL & 8 GPIO rails & ships with MerOS (compatible with X & Wayland)

Feature wise board seems good. Looking forward to see some demo video based on this board.
As this board is opensource students can use their design and develop their final year project on great platform.
