    I sincerely hope that you are not pulling the collective legs of us all here on CE.
    Electricity is a physical quantity. Digital data is not.
    If you can do this you can build a Star Trek transponder and beam people and things all over.

    It is possible to convert an analog signal to digital data, transmit such data, reconvert such data back to analog format at the receiving end.
    However each of those steps consume energy. The energy in the original analog signal is not transmittable as digital data for reconversion to electricity at the other end in the sense electricity can be sent through wires.

    This is a fascinating question! Electricity is a physical phenomenon. It can't be converted into digital data and sent over the internet. But smart grids are new systems. They use the internet to manage electricity better. These grids send data on electricity use, load, and billing online.

    In Pakistan, FESCO has online systems. It is the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company. They provide easy access to electricity bills and updates. Users can check, download, and pay their electricity bills using FESCO Online Bill and similar apps. Power is delivered through traditional transmission lines. But, now, electricity management and tracking are digital.

    Sending electricity over the internet is still science fiction. But wireless power transfer and IoT are enabling smarter energy use.
