Obvious Corp's 'Medium' Is The New Blogging Platform Launched By Twitter Founders

Twitter Founders - Biz Stone and Evan Williams bring to us a new publishing platform called 'Medium' - a place for the web-connected social masses, that may look like Posterous at first. But, Williams who one of the key member behind the Blogger team shares with us in a #-Link-Snipped-# about why they developed a new blogging platform from scratch. To put it in his words, "not just because it’s in our wheelhouse, but because we believe publishing—and media, more broadly—is important." Adding a mix of best ingredients from Twitter, Pinterest, and Flipboard, what we get is a new blogging service - Medium.

Though it is right now available only in closed beta, you may Medium – Where good ideas find you. immediately for later access. With options to choose the level of contribution such as - just read/view content or give feedback, users can prefer what they want to do. Distinguishing on the basis of themes or templates or UIs, all the posts on Medium are organized into “collections”. For example, you have one that #-Link-Snipped-# or #-Link-Snipped-# for the textual posts. These collections also make sure that the highest-rated posts show up at the top.
