    Nuclear Fusion

Well certain renowned scientists recently have joined hands and collected a big amount of money to try and extract energy from Nuclear Fusion method to combat with the ever increasing energy needs of the world.
Well is it really possible to create the atmosphere required to carry it out perfectly?

I think, there are fusion bombs already existing. The problem lies in performing controlled fusion, which has been already pretty well mastered in the case of fission.

Yes, fusion does seem to be a very clean alternative than fission, no radioactive waste problems.

    😒

Is it true that no waste is produced during nuclear fusion? This discussion very well goes with Electricity Export thread in Electrical Engineering section!

Yes indeed no waste is produced in Fusion.

Of course both fission and fusion do produce other elements from the initial elements used. But unlike fission, fusion by-products are not radioactive and therefore dont have disposal problems.

In addition, the chief fuel necessary for fusion is Hydrogen which can be abundantly generated.
    😁
