Tech enthusiasts may have to stretch their brain muscles a bit. Remember NotionInk? The Indian tablet maker that promised a ton of things but couldn't deliver - seems to have died its natural death. People started reporting NotionInk as scam after debacles after debacles and failed promises.

I just checked out their website and it says 'Busy Creating'. I wonder what are they working on - either they're creating a new adam tablet or maybe trying to setup their game well.

Do you have any memories of NotionInk?

Notion Ink is working on its next tablet mostly is named as 'Adam 2'.
They have some specs and also a image of Adam 2.

specs include : TI 4400 dual core processor , PowerVR SGX5xx GPU , Ice cream sandwich OS

These info was out a year ago. After that there is no news of it. Their website is showing..'busy creating' status. They might be busy creating adam 2 and might not have noticed Jelly bean and upcoming 'Key lime pie' 😛.

Yeah, search for NotionInk and you'lll find a ton of negative reviews. I had tried to get in touch with Rohan Shravan - founder and CEO of the company. He was too busy and replied to only half of my questions.

I have used that tab. Its UI was very slow, device is quite bulky, Poor battery life. There are more -ve's that +ve's. Even adam 2 (as per leaked pics ) looks bit bulky.

I think Adam 2 is doomed. I doubt the company will ever be released.

Oh yes, I do remember reading about those controversies two years back. Haven't been following them much.
There was the error with the OTA update that couldn't be downloaded completely and the device became completely inoperable.

Is there no chance that the company is up to something good?

Now, Notion Ink should make devices under the partnership of Indian hardware vendors like HCL , Wipro . Then only some good can happen to Notion Ink and also it would be like a boosting to Indian manufacturing market.
