  • It seems the Finnish brand is ready to enter the Quad-core dimension. With the recent launch of Lumia 725, a jumbo model with a 4.7-inch screen, Nokia plans to increase size with power at the same time. A Chinese Newspaper leaked the details of an upcoming Nokia 825 which is speculated to fit a quad-core processor behind a 5.2-inch screen cabinet. All the top high-end Nokia gadgets including Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 are run by a dual-core processor. The new Lumia will support 1280x720p resolution.

GFXBench reports the secret device to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8X26 chipset which is clocked at 1.2GHz. Nokia is going to give a higher shock when it is found out that this chipset supports dual-sim, Bluetooth, NFC and Quickcharge 1.0 fast charging. With the GDR3 update which is expected around this fall, Microsoft is taking a leap with its entry in the quad-core segment. It is also evident that this update will be self sufficient with a display of 1920x1080p resolution.
